Force User/App Refresh upon From update.
Good morning all,
We have an ever expanding userbase in the our iForm environment with Multiple Profiles and 1000's of users company wide.
We are increasingly noticing that when forms are updated (New elements added/changed) some users who haven't refreshed their app are still submitting with the old form version and the new element data isn't being collected. Whilst this in itself isn't causing any errors with the app it does affect our data set in the long run.
Is there anyway after a Dev has completed changes to a form that it can force the users to refresh the app to get the latest version and submit the correct data?
Kind regards
Steve

Hey Steve,
Thanks for sharing the pain points your team are experiencing. I understand the challenge and while there are a few ways to minimize the gap between form updates and data collection, we do not currently provide a way to push or force form updates to devices upon a server save.
My best recommendation is to have users enable Sync on Start and/or Auto-Sync to increase the frequency that the device is synced and thus reduce the chances that a user completes an outdated form. The other idea that comes to mind is notifying your users when form changes are made so that they are explicitly informed to sync their devices. Hope this helps, please let us know if you have any other thoughts and/or suggestions.
