COVID-19 Solutions for Your Team, Returning to Work Safely
As headlines continue to pour in and news changes from one day to the next, one thing is certain: teams are beginning to think about how to return to work.
Whether that's happening in the next week or in the next few months, now is the time to consider new mobile solutions to comply with state-to-state and federal regulations, along with keeping team members as safe as possible. The right forms, tools, and technology are more critical than ever before.
Join us on Tuesday, May 12 at 1pm ET as we discuss the solutions we've created to help teams like yours, along with a special invitation to be a part of helping other teams mobilize during this time.
Lookup Element is Now Available on Webforms
The lookup element is now available for all mobile and web platforms. If you were previously using the lookup element on iOS and Android it will now be working on Webforms as well. If you are not familiar with the element you can do things like this:
- Reference previous information in a table with up to 5 columns
- View current or past inventory, inspections, work order, and any other data.
Check out the video below to see the Lookup element in action.

Ability to Disable a Form
In our latest Formbuilder Release we have added the ability to disable a form. Disabling a form removes the form from devices without having to remove the form assignment. It also allows easier form management in Form Builder by hiding disabled forms from default view.
Zerion in the Field: Read how Ecolab keeps hospitals clean!
Working with customers, Ecolab has implemented comprehensive patient room cleaning programs that include a measurement component in which hospitals collect data about cleaning outcomes. Because much of the data is collected on an ongoing basis from each customer site and wireless internet is not always available with varying facilities, there was a clear need for a simple, yet scalable and secure solution that would allow Ecolab to collect mobile data without the need for a connection. Unfortunately, coming up with this solution proved challenging. Ecolab turned to Zerion to explore options within iFormBuilder.
Bug Fixes
- Form Builder: Fixed an issue where the header would sometimes appear to be cut off when scrolling inside a form in the Form Builder.
iFormBuilder for Communities
Using the same technology global organizations have relied on for over a decade, iFormBuilder for Communities is designed to simplify data collection for groups like churches, schools, daycares, athletic organizations, scouts, and more. With a special pricing structure and other features, iFormBuilder for Communities is an offering we are excited to launch.
Coming Soon: New App Settings Menu
Our current settings menu is outdated and is due for a refresh. We have been working on a new interface and it is coming soon and you'll be able to use it in May. We are standardizing things across the board in terms of look and feel of the application. The new settings menu features:
- New Account section to see user and account details
- New Support and Troubleshooting section to better support users
- Logout button moved to the bottom on the menu
Coming Soon: Automatically Select a Lookup Element Row
Our newest element is about to get better. In the scenario where a filter is set up to return only a single selection, the lookup element will be able to automatically select that selection. Currently users have to open the element and select that option which is time that could be spent doing better things. Look for more details in May!
Stay tuned for more updates coming next month. Stay Safe and Happy Data Collecting!
