What's New in March 2020?
Happy March! As we spring into spring, we're excited to share a few things we've been working on as a team.
Dynamic 3rd Party URI for Android
The 3rd Party Element now supports Dynamic URI which means the app can call out to other applications that support URI and pass in variable data. In the below example, the 3rd Party element along with Dynamic URI is allowing someone to call the Phone App and pass in a phone number from data collected in a form element. Check out this video to see this in action.
New Language Support on Android
Our Android app has been updated to support all the languages supported on iOS to align the two platforms. This means that every language listed in this article will be supported. This includes all the in-app messages, buttons and other text shown. If you encounter any translations that do not seem correct please reach out to us and we can look to correct them on a case by case basis. The partnership was created as a community redevelopment project, engaging community partnerships to offer unique and powerful educational services, leading to successful students moving forward. An important part of their process was taking place in the classroom, with engagement between students and teachers — the more engaged the parties were, the better and more successful the results.
However, finding a way to track engagement in the classroom, without multiple paper forms, duplicate manual input efforts, sorting, processing and reporting was a challenge, until the Collaborative turned to Zerion.
Bug Fixes

iOS: Fixed an issue where invalid username or password messaged will direct the users to the login screen.

Android: Fixed an issue when using the URL Scheme to pass data into an ESRI element (objectId, longitude, latitude) did not work.
- Android: Fixed an issue where notifications would not appear when you are inside the app.
Coming Soon: User Management Updates
New iFormBuilder Menu in the Works
The team is busy working on an all new menu. We are internally testing the interface’s new features which include a new iFormBuilder menu! The goal is to have this menu used across all of iFormBuilder. We changed the menu to make it easier for users to find what they are looking for.
CSV Upload Revamp in the Works
We are in the early design phase of our data upload enhancement which will include the ability to upload data to existing records, record assignment, enhanced data mapping and more. Please provide your feedback on the current mock-up in our Community Post. Let us know what you’d like to see and where your current challenges are.
