Happy November! We have been busy working on some keeping your data more secure and new developments to the platform and we are excited to share the progress along the way. Read on for whats new this month:
 

You likely saw an email come through with that subject recently telling you about moving away from TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. If you aren’t too familiar with the subject, take a look at the FAQ we put together since the first email notice went out.

Q: When I click on the test link, my username and password are not recognized?
A: The test page will not have your login information, and as long as you see the login screen the device will be compatible with the upgrade.

Q: Why do I need to upgrade?
A: In short, the technology currently being used is outdated and auditing tools like the website below will return a grade of “F”. The newer technology will improve that grade back to an “A”.

Q: Does the migration require any changes on the mobile apps?
A: The migration is seamless for all devices which can support TLS 1.2 (most modern browsers and mobile devices).

Q: Should I run tests on other software I integrate with (APIs)?
A: Yes, this is not as obvious as the devices in the field, but any service that integrates with the iFormBuilder API needs to support TLS 1.2 or the integration will fail after the upgrade. If this happens, please just email “truth@zerionsoftware.com” and I will help you revert back.

Q: Is there a list of supported devices or operating system versions to compare?
A: From the research performed, no. Testing each device / integration is the best way to confirm there will be no trouble moving forward. 

New User Management Functionality in Progress
 

We are continuing our development on our updated user management functionality. We are introducing all new ways to create users, perform actions in batch and much more. We are going to make management users easier and more intuitive then ever! In this new interface the following is possible and more:

• When creating users automatically add them to groups.
• Perform actions in Batch such as reset, password, lock users, update policies and even delete users.
• Easily navigate between User Groups
• Easily view all of your policies and users within them
