Editable Grid Element

We often have users entering multiple subforms with test data, basic numeric data with 4-5 entries on the subform. They have continually asked if there is a way they can enter this data (at the parent level) without the multiple clicks in/out of a subform. I'm envisioning a grid element similar to the display grid for a subform where users could simply click to add another row and enter/edit the entries in that row from the parent without having to click into a subform.
