This feature would be a welcome addition and far more valuable than a casual look might suggest. In my past experience and industry, assigning inspections and then having field users deal with route planning was a time-consuming and expensive process. Many firms that could easily have relied upon the Google API chose mapping packages that were both overkill and overpriced.

Even the mockup above would be game-changing - From the perspective of field users, they'd gain an entirely portable mechanism by which to plan routes. So it would simplify their workload.

At the C-Suite level, it would continue to enable the pivot to the Thin IT model. This would be a particularly elegant solution to reducing or eradicating the footprint of some of these mapping packages.  The costs of acquisition, ongoing licensure, maintenance, and internal IT admin costs are material.

So a feature that could be incorporated into iFB would have a disproportionately large value proposition. It's a relatively simple exercise for a COO or analyst at an organization/institution to determine the specific, measurable impact this might have on bottom line.

Finally, the transformative nature of migrating this process to mobile devices is the virtual definition of the SAMR principles Zerion encourages in material to developers.  It seems like the platform can't lose adding this in.
