WHAT IS THIS FEATURE…
The Custom Excel Feature added to the iFormBuilder Platform allows for custom excel reporting format to be created when exporting excel, saving the field teams valuable time in post processing all the form data into a particular excel format. To enable this feature, please reach out to your account managers or customer support and we will enable it
WHY DID WE ADD THIS FEATURE...
It saves time on post-processing data in excel and can get a pre-configured customized format of data, whether they are using multiple subforms or using multi-select elements in the forms. This feature uses our background processing engine and also enables us to asynchronously process the request and customize the output without timing out.
THE BENEFITS OF THIS FEATURE ARE…
- Ability to export large amounts of data into excel
- Ability to design Custom output for excel data which enables you to do better reporting and less re-organization of data once downloaded.
- Getting pre-configured data delivered to your inbox.
- Export subforms on the same tab as parent form (Flattening)
- Multi-select options can create their own column and identify which option is selected
- Display the index value of the of your options
- Display all the options on a particular record submission

Check the job processing queue and status of the requested report.

Yes all the formats can be support, we have no release scheduled yet for any other format in the short term

We are not adding any macros to the excel, all the process is done in the background and then a report in resulting format is sent to the customer via our background processing engine.
