This is still a big complaint from my field team. It would make a huge difference for the usability of the application. I agree with Lea that if you polled the user community you would probably find that a lot of people agree.

    Hi Lea,

Thanks for checking in, our team is consistently working hard to solve the features and requests that have high number of votes from the community and hence this might have not come up to be scheduled as development work.

Let me know if this is something that needs higher importance to you (over the other features that our voted more than this) and we can certainly find a way to get it into our development cycle.

"It is probably the biggest single thing that would improve using iForms in the field so yes I would say that it is a very high priority for me. If I am not mistaken there have been other requests similar to this so if you actually polled the user community you would probably find it rated quite high on the desired list. I know everyone in our agency would appreciate it. Thanks for listening."

    Hi Rebekah and Lea,

This is something we are planning on putting into our pipeline here by the end of Q2 2019.

Before we can put this into the pipeline we need to figure out a way to handle the Description and Attachment fields that exist with Text and Number Fields. Currently, when you open the fields you go into another screen and can view the attachment and description there. With this change, the description would not be used. Is the description or attachment field something you and your field teams use or is it not as important to you.

    Thanks,

    -Ben

That is great news! My team does occasionally use the description field but inline editing is much more important to us. There are other ways we can provide that information to the users.

I agree with Rebekah this is more important than either the description field or attachments. And yes I do use both but occasionally only. I would also love an update on the progress for this feature.
