Script to Text Recognition Widget

I would love to have a widget that had a script to text recognition. I think there would be lots of opportunity to put that to use.

  Hi Lea, can you elaborate a little bit more on this for me or perhaps even share an example of what you were thinking?

  originally I was thinking just the ability of the notepad to convert to text or numbers so it could be moved into a text or number field but the more I think of it the more I wonder if you can make any fields that have numbers or letters able to be "written" in?

  ex: In our forms we are taking a lot of biological measurements. It would be great if without having to move to another screen we could "write" in the numbers.

  What I am trying to accomplish with this is be able to add a lot of data quickly we often deal with live animals that need to be handled carefully and quickly.

  Thanks for the follow-up Lea, so I think you might be looking for something along the lines of this post below. We don't have a solution for that yet, but curios if that is what you were thinking as well.

  While its not exactly what you are looking for, you can use the < and > buttons to quickly move between a lot of sequential numeric or text based fields, so that may be able to offer some help in the meantime.
