Store X,Y,Z location coordinates in separate fields

Latitude, longitude, and altitude should each be recorded in separate columns in the table. This would make for easier import to a GIS.

  Hi Chris, you actually can already do this leveraging the Javascript variables for the location widget to pass into other fields.

  Correct me if I'm wrong, but those instructions seem to suggest that you can only separate the lat lon from one GPS input element in each form. How could I do the same (separate out the lat & lon & altitude) if I have one form with many GPS input elements, and I want to allow the user to record the GPS location for each of 3, 5 or more photos they have taken, which would mean more than one GPS input per form?

  Hi Jan, this can work for many elements on the form as you always reference the data column name of the location widget you want to get the lat or long from.
