Dynamic values for Option Lists (from external data sources)

I need to set a list of options in a Pick list or a multi-select using data provided by mySql database. I have already got the data using ajax and php service, but now the problem is how to put the values in the form as options. Could someone help me?

  Hi there, you need to take the data from your server and call the Option List API to create a new list, or update an existing list.

  Hi Nickolas, is there anything in particular you are having trouble with? My original comment is from an older version of the API and I would encourage you to review the newer versions which have been released.
