Instead of just doing 1-10, you could have from Bad to Good.

  ...and with control over the increments, for example, a range from 1 to 5 but in increments of 0.5 (1.0, 1.5, 2.0.....4.5, 5.0).  I am using a pick list to achieve this, but I'd prefer to use a range.
