Different colors for options in select element

It would add to the user experience if it was possible to assign different colors to different options in a select element. A simple example would be to have green for 'yes' and red for 'no'. This would help the user (or a peer reviewer) quickly see if there are any positive or negative answers. Obviously there would need to be a method of assigning different colors to different options in the list.

  Please, please add this function. Or at lease return to the previous client view. Solid black buttons on select widget is simply awful.
