This will be available when iForm 6.0 is released in just a short while. Stay tuned and watch the App Store for updates.

Did number 1 ever get finished. Every single user that uses form I've created have all requested this functionality.

Hi Phil, displaying the keyboard on top of the form questions is not part of the update

I would love to see data entry simplified for text and number fields as mentioned in #1 above. That is the most common complaint I hear about data entry.

This is still a huge complaint.  Any solution to it coming soon?

Hi John, the next / previous functionality has been implemented. The application is designed to load new screens for each input type (except a few special ones) so there is no change coming on that front.

I discovered that on iForms iOS version 8.11.3.206 there are < > buttons on the text and numeric entry screens.  However, Android does not have such a feature.  FYI:  I am testing with a Galaxy S6 running iForms 6.9.10.278.

Is this going to be added to the Android version?

I would agree with you Phil, the keyboard on top of the form would help out significantly. I know that having to go to a separate screen has been very frustrating for my field staff. Though the tab (< >) buttons help they still have a fairly significant lag time with the animation during the transition.

Hi John, yes we are still making up ground on the Android client and have intentions to bring the previous and next navigation function on board as well.

Hi Lea, it seems your field staff are mostly focused on speed and that is where they feel this would make it faster? If that were not the case and it was slower.. would your team still want this?

Unfortunately speed will always be an issue for us. We are collecting data from the public who often find us an imposition so the less of their time we take the better. I would say that yes they would still prefer to have it stay on the page the field is located on. However, we are using iPad Airs and there is a lot of real estate to work with. The biggest complaint I get from the samplers is the electronic forms take much longer to fill out than the older paper form. There is a tremendous amount of time savings on the other end but they do not see that.

Still hoping that we can get a keypad on the same page as the field. In the mean time is there a way using the back/forward buttons to skip over dividers? It pops back out as soon as it hits a divider and I would like it to be able to skip over those.

I would like to see these as well. Never noticed the arrows before now and no one filling out our forms seems to notice them either. I would like to see the "Done" button automatically advance to the next open field. And I hear constant complaints about the lack of speed in the data entry process. I think keeping the keyboard on the same page would make it simpler for people to fill out.
