    Hi Izzuddin,

Thank you for your comment. Are you currently using the Look-Up element in your form and looking to something in addition to the Look-Up element or is it not meeting this need? We have many customers who use the Look-Up element in a form and when there isn't an entry that meets their need, they are able to create a new record that is then used in the future Look-Ups.

    Hope this helps,

    Berit

    Hi Berit,

The issue with lookups is that if we have a large amount of data in the table, it will take time to upload all of the data to the local device. For small amounts of data, we can use lookups, but when the data increases, we need something similar to a lookup but that is available when client connected to the internet. This way, the client can send a request to the server to query if a value exists or not.

    thanks a lot,

    Izzuddin

    Hi again,

Thank you for the additional feedback. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the HTTP Request Element that we added last year. This element does require wifi/cellular connection. At this time, it allows you to call to Public API's to populate form details. If the data you want to populate is public, this could meet your need. If it's hosted on a private server, we may need to keep looking into other options.
