Why can't I export an option list as an excel or CSV file?

Maybe I am just dense and you can and I just don't know how but this seems like a basic thing to be able to do. I have many option lists that are in the hundreds of fields and would like to export them, edit them and then reimport them.

  Unfortunately, at the moment you cannot export an option list. Please vote for this request if you haven't done so already: https://iformbuilder.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/205912103-Ability-to-Export-Option-Lists

  The more votes this post gets, the more likely our Development Team will work on making it possible.

  I've seen customers maintaining option lists by keeping the original list on a CSV file, then any update they have, they would edit the CSV file, empty the option list table, then upload the most updated version of the CSV file. Maybe that is a possible alternate solution for you for right now.
