Output OS and app version in meta data

I know device Device_ID is populated in the meta data for each record, and that you can get the devices OS version and App version from the licence screen in iFormBuilder.

Is it possible to output the OS and app version in meta data of each record, or to add this data as a question?

This would be very helpful for trouble shooting issues on versions.

  Hey Ciaran, this is an interesting idea, and one we would have to put some thought into. The challenge with adding new meta data fields, is that it can break existing integrations when additional data is returned.

  We might have a better opportunity for success by creating a new input type that can be added to forms where this is needed. Do you think that would help you?

  Hi Tony,

  Yeah, or new built in functions iformbuilder.osversion and iformbuilder.appversion or similar. This means users could add this data if required or not if not required.
