What are Public Links?
Public Links makes Webforms accessible to data collectors without requiring them to have a username and/or password. This is achieved by creating a link to a particular form that would allow collectors with the link to access Webforms through his or her, or their computer and collect records. We see this as a great way to improve existing workflows or expand your use cases.
PLEASE NOTE: This currently only available through Webforms and not the iOS or Android app.
How do I get Public Links?
Each company comes with 100 monthly uses for free. To purchase additional Public Link submissions, please reach out to support either via the chat below or by emailing us at support@zerionsoftware.com.
How do I disable a link?
PLEASE NOTE: In order to disable a link, you must either be a Server Admin or Company Admin with form builder rights.
Disabling a link will allow you to stop the collection of data via the link until it is re-enabled. This can come in handy if you only want submissions during certain days or weeks or seasons. This is different than deleting a link which will remove the link permanently.
To disable a link, please follow the instructions below.
STEP 1. From the Mega Menu, click Form Builder under the Forms tab.
STEP 2. From the Form List View, click the Public Links icon.
STEP 3. Click the Public Link option.
PLEASE NOTE: The Access with Login option will provide you the Webforms link, but will require a username and password just as the current Webforms does today.
STEP 4. To disable, click the Disable Link toggle to "on" and click Save.
If a user tries to access the disabled link, they will receive the following message:
