What is Data Upload?
The Data Upload service allows users to populate data tables, update records, assign records, and more by uploading data via a CSV formatted file.
How do I map the fields on my file to the elements on my form?
When uploading data via a CSV file with our Data Upload service, we offer the ability to send a status email to a user or users of your choosing.
This can be done on the Data Configuration screen when creating new records or updating existing records.
Once you've landed on the Data Mapping screen (please see the steps for creating new records or updating existing records), you will see all of the elements on your form that can have data added to them through a CSV file.
If the header names on your CSV file match the data column names of your form elements, it will auto-map as it does in the screenshot above.
If you do not wish for these to be auto-mapped, you can click either the "x" next to the field, X Clear All or choose the CSV column from the drop-down menu.
PLEASE NOTE: If you any of the above three options and wish to go back to auto-mapping, simply click the Auto Map button and they will be re-mapped.
