What is a Policy?

A policy is a set of permissions that are given to users. Permissions control the ability to perform actions such as form building, creating and editing users, company admin rights, and more.

What is Data Upload?

The Data Upload service allows users to populate data tables, update records, assign records, and more by uploading data via a CSV formatted file.

How do I assign a Data Upload policy?

To assign a Data Upload policy to a user, please follow the instructions below.

STEP 1. From inside the iFormBuilder Admin Portal, hover over the Mega Menu and select User Management.

STEP 2. Find the user you'll be assigning the policy to and click the "eye" icon next to that user.

STEP 3. On the following screen, click Edit.

STEP 4. On the Edit screen, click either Policies from the breadcrumb menu or Assign Policies at the bottom of the page.

STEP 5. Here you can give the user either a Data Upload Admin policy or a Data Upload Server Admin Policy.

• Data Upload Admin: Ability to upload data, manage uploads, and view status through the Data Upload interface within only their profile.
• Data Upload Server Admin: Ability to upload data, manage uploads, and view status through the Data Upload interface across all profiles.

STEP 6. Under Policies, confirm the user has the correct one and click Save.
