What are Dynamic Attributes?
Dynamic Attributes are the successor to those pesky Reference IDs. They will allow users to create new custom settings at the Page and Element level and do it in a much more organized and scalable fashion. As an example, we developed a way to allow the Time or Date-Time element to be shown in either a 12 or 24-hour time format.

What does the Max Attribute do?
The Max Dynamic Attribute allows users to limit the number of rows returned when using the Lookup element. To implement this attribute, follow the instructions below.
PLEASE NOTE: This Dynamic Element Attribute is available with iForm for iOS 8.36 and iForm for Android 8.11.
How do I limit the number of rows shown in the Lookup element?
To implement the Max Dynamic Attribute, follow the instructions below.
STEP 1. Highlight the Lookup element that references the data table you wish to limit.
STEP 2. Under the Element Properties section, click the Dynamic Attributes drop-down.
STEP 3. Select Max from the drop-down choices.
STEP 4. Enter the max number of rows you want to show. In this example, it will show the latest 5 rows of data in the lookup table.
STEP 5. Save your form.
STEP 6. Test the Dynamic Attribute on your device.
Before the limit is set you'll see there are 7 rows showing.
After the limit is you see only the latest 5 show.
