Form Builder Dynamic Element Attributes
What are Dynamic Attributes?
Dynamic Attributes are the successor to those pesky Reference IDS. Dynamic Attributes will allow users to create custom settings at the page and element level such as adjusting the time format to reflect either a 12 or 24-hour format.
How do I change the time format?
The 12-hour/24-hour Dynamic Element Attribute will be available with iOS 8.34 and Android 8.8.
With the addition of Dynamic Attributes, you can now decide the format of the Date-Time and Time elements. To do so, please follow the instructions below.
PLEASE NOTE: This setting will override the time settings of the device.
STEP 1. With your form loaded in the Form Builder, click the element to which you'll be adding the Dynamic Attribute. In this example, will be using the Date-Time element.
STEP 2. Under the Element Properties, you'll see the Dynamic Attributes section. From the drop-down, add the attributes to the element.
PLEASE NOTE: If no Dynamic Attributes are available for a particular element type, you'll see the following message.
STEP 3. The Dynamic Attribute list will populate. In this example, choose your time format.
STEP 4. Save your changes.
STEP 5. Test the attributes on your device. You'll see that the time is listed in 24-hour format (ex. 13:07).
