What are Web Forms?

iFormBuilder's WebForms allow users to collect data via his or her desktop or laptop instead of a mobile device. 

When will WebForms be available?

The public beta version of WebForms will be available on September 4, 2018. If you currently operate on app.iformbuilder.com, please reach out to Support to have it enabled in your profile. 

How do I create a record with WebForms?

To create a record using WebForms, please follow the instructions below.

PLEASE NOTE: With the rollout of Phase 2 on November 29, 2018, any user with collect rights to the form can use Webforms to collect data.

STEP 1. From inside the Admin Portal, hover over the Data tab and click Collect.  PLEASE NOTE: If you are a server admin, you may not see the Views or Collect button if you are not in the profile where your username is created and WebForms is not enabled.

STEP 2. Click the form where you'd like to create the record. PLEASE NOTE: Ensure the user you are logged in with has collect access to Forms. This can be configured through Form Assignment.

STEP 3. Fill out your form.

STEP 5. Click Submit if done collecting or Submit and New to create another record.

You will be taken to either the Form menu or the next record depending on your choice.
