iForm for Android Settings
What's covered:
How do I adjust the size of an image?
iForm allows you to choose the size of the images captured within the app.
- PLEASE NOTE: Use larger images sparingly, especially if uploading over a weaker connection, as larger photo sizes can cause upload issues.
- We also recommend using Multi-Paging Subforms when capturing many photos on the same form.
To set your Image size preference, please follow the steps below.
STEP 1. From inside the iForm app, click the Settings menu in the upper left-hand corner.
STEP 2. On the following screen, click the Settings section.
STEP 3. Scroll down to the Advanced section and click the Element Settings.
STEP 4. Click Image Size.
STEP 5. Choose your image size.
PLEASE NOTE: If you choose the Extra Large image size it will be limited to 4032x3024. You'll also receive this important reminder about testing your forms with this image size before rolling it out to the field.
Image size dimensions
Here are the dimensions for the different image sizes.
Image Size | Dimension |
Small | 250 |
Medium | 500 |
Large | 1000 |
Larger | 1500 |
Extra Large | 4032 |
Images taken using Photo, Multi-Photo, or Drawing elements must adhere to the specified dimensions outlined above. For example, if an image is captured at 4032X2268 pixels in a small image size setting, it will be automatically scaled down to 250X140 pixels while maintaining the original aspect ratio.
