What is metadata?

Metadata is information automatically captured in the background by your device. Data such as CREATED_DY, CREATED_DATE, CREATED_LOCATION and more are all recorded and can be accessed via any of the iFormBuilder Data Feeds.

How can I see where a record was modified?

The MODIFIED_LOCATION info is captured automatically on the user's device through the metadata. To see where a record was last modified, please follow the instructions below.

STEP 1. From your admin portal, access the Data tab.

STEP 2. Highlight the form for which you'd like to know when the record was created.

STEP 3. Click on any of the Data Feeds.

The following is a sample of the JSON Feed. You'll see the MODIFIED_LOCATION field.
