PLEASE NOTE: 5.1 is now deprecated. We will no longer be fixing or making enhancements to API 5.1 (and lower).
Why is this happening?
These are some, but not all of, the reasons we are saying goodbye to 5.1 (and lower):
- It has superior security when using OAuth 2.
- It has a newer and better API framework.
- It's what we use internally so stability will be much greater.
- It has more endpoints which allow for more flexibility.
- We want to be fast in our development. To do that, we have to focus our efforts on API 6.0.
Am I affected?
If you are using 5.1 (or below) you could be affected. We no longer will be running updates on these APIs and future releases could potentially break them. We strongly urge you to make the switch to our updated 6.0 API by following the documentation here.
What about my Zapier Integrations?
All Zaps should switch to our new app once it is released. Please follow this article to be notified when that has been published.
To update, you can replace the current iForm version. Please follow this article to learn how to build zaps.
Edit: November 30, 2018, Zapier Beta is now available, please contact us for more information!
To move to the updated app, you will have to change your trigger or action.
STEP 1. Open up your zap and choose your iFormBuilder trigger or action.
STEP 2. Search for iFormBuilder. Currently, you may see 2 or more options appear. Choose the one with the one labeled "(Beta)", and if there are multiple, choose the highest version.
STEP 3. If you are replacing a trigger, you will have to remap all the fields in the action. Now continue building out the rest of the zap as you normally would. You can take a look at this video for additional guidance here or take a look at the Zapier getting started guide here.

Hello Folks. You will notice above that the API Deprecation date has been pushed from April 8th 2018 until further notice. We heard from the community and users who have implemented API 5.1 and there are still a number of API calls that are not available in API 5.1. We will re-announce the deprecation and removal dates when these calls are available in API 6.0. This will allow the transition to API 6.0 to be smoother with these calls in place.
Stay tuned for updates are they are made available.

As of June 11, 2018, API 5.1 is deprecated.
PLEASE NOTE: 5.1 will continue to work until the endpoints are shut off which is currently scheduled for February 28, 2019. This does, however, mean we will no longer be making any updates or fixes to 5.1. If you need assistance migrating over to API 6.0, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we'll be more than happy to assist.
