What are Public Links?

Public Links makes Webforms accessible to data collectors without requiring them to have a username and/or password. This is achieved by creating a link to a particular form that would allow collectors with the link to access Webforms through his or her, or their computer and collect records. We see this as a great way to improve existing workflows or expand your use cases. 

PLEASE NOTE: This is currently only available through Webforms and not the iOS or Android app.

How do I send users to a webpage after submission?

You can send users to a webpage of your choosing after a record has been submitted via public link. This removes the option for "Submit & New" and takes them straight to the callback URL added.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to add the callback URL, you will need Form Building rights.

STEP 1. From the Mega Menu, click Form Builder under the Forms tab.

STEP 2. From the Form List View, search and find the form you want to update and click on it.

STEP 3. Click the Form Properties icon.

STEP 4. Click on the Advanced Properties tab and then select Redirect after submission from the Dynamic Attributes dropdown.

STEP 5. Enter a valid URL to redirect the users to another page after submission and click Save.

STEP 6. Make sure to test and confirm it takes you to the correct webpage.
