How do I create an Option List from the Inline Option List Manager?
To create an Option List, follow the instructions below.
STEP 1. With your form loaded in the Form Builder, add one of the following elements to your form.
In this example, we'll be using a Pick List.
STEP 2. On the right-hand side, you'll see the element properties. Enter the name of your element.
PLEASE NOTE: If you check the Based on Label option, it will create a data column based on the Label on the element.
STEP 3. From the Option List section, click Option Lists.
STEP 4. Click + Create List.
STEP 5. Name you Option List and click Create.
PLEASE NOTE: If you want to add icons to the options in the Option List, put in your URL in the Option Icons field. If you plan to segment your Option List, put OPTIONLISTTYPE_SEGMENTED_LIST in the Reference ID field.
STEP 6. Search for your newly created Option List and select it.
STEP 7. In the Label field, enter your option. You'll see that the Key Value defaults to the Label name.
PLEASE NOTE: The Key Value can be edited as you see fit, however, it is recommended that you don't use any special characters in your Key Value and use database-friendly characters, such as underscores, in their place.
STEP 8. Click the + button add your options.
STEP 9. Save your Option List.
STEP 10. Click Assign Selected.
You'll see the Option List is now assigned to the element.
STEP 11. Save your form.
