What is a Zerion Dataflow?
Zerion Dataflows provide organizations Big Data capabilities including long term storage, data management, processing and integration without having to invest millions of dollars and a dedicated team.

What is a RecordSet?
RecordSets are storage locations for data saved within a Zerion Dataflow. These RecordSets and the actions associated with them are the foundations for Zerion Dataflows.

What is a Zerion Dataflow Slack action?
The Zerion Dataflow Slack action allows you to send data and messages directly to your company's Slack account using incoming Webhooks.
How do I create a Zerion Dataflow Slack action?
To create a Slack action, please follow the instructions below.

STEP 1
Create an Incoming Slack Webhook from your Slack account, and make note of the URL (will look similar to the example below).
Ex: https://hooks.slack.com/services/XXXX/XXXX/XXXX

STEP 2
From the left-hand menu, click Connections.
Step 3
Click +New Connection.
Step 4
Configure the connection using the Slack Webhook URL created in Step 1 and click Test Connection.
Step 5
After a successful connection, click Save.
STEP 6
Load the Dataflow to which you'll be adding the Slack action.

STEP 7
With the Dataflow loaded, click the Actions drop-down menu and choose Slack.
STEP 8
Choose the appropriate connection and set any necessary override values, including the message template.
Step 9
After a successful connection, click Save.
After saving, the Zerion Dataflow messages will begin posting to Slack.
