The map record view visualizes local records using location data (system or user defined). Only records which contain location data will show on this view.
Start, by tapping on any form. In the record view you will see an icon of a map in the top left corner of the screen (you must have one saved record for the form to see this option).
The view will switch from a list to a map and a new set of buttons appear. Open an existing record by tapping on the status icon in the map. If many records exist in the same location, a list will be presented so you may select the correct one.
A) List View- switch back to the list view
B) New Record- create a new record for this form
C) Current Location- show the current device location
D) Show All- zoom in or out to show all records
E) Location Priority
With location priority you can define which field to use for visualizing the records on the map.
- Created Location
- Modified Location
- Location Widget (any location widget)
- ArcGIS Location (ESRI widget)
Show Top Location Only will only visualize records on the map which contain data for that attribute. Deselecting this option will show records which have have location data for any of the listed attributes using the specified order.
F) Basemaps
Choose from three different basemaps which include:
- Topographic
- Street
- Satellite Imagery
