What is localization?

Form Localization allows your forms to support multi-lingual teams that need to collect data on the same forms. Localization works by specifying the language translations which are needed based on the language of the user's device.

iFormBuilder will use the translations you define when a user's device is set to that language setting.

PLEASE NOTE: Users must supply translations to be entered into the admin panel for each language you want to support for a given form. 

How do I add localization to a form?

To localize a form, please follow the instructions below.

STEP 1. Hover over the Forms tab and select Localization.

STEP 2. Highlight the form you want to localize and click Edit.

STEP 3. Click the Language drop-down menu.

STEP 4. Choose the language you want to localize the form in.

STEP 5. Type in your translations.

STEP 6. Save your localizations.

STEP 7. Test the Localization on your device by changing your device language settings. This example is using Spanish.
