What is Device Map-Based Record View?
The Device Map-Based Record View plots out the locations of where your records are created. The Map View Button displays on the top right of the device while in record view:
PLEASE NOTE: To use the Map Base view, you must save the records while location services are turned on.
How do I navigate the Map-Based Record View on the device?
To use the Map-Based Record View on iOS, please follow the instructions below.
STEP 1. Choose the form you'll be working with.
STEP 2. Click the Map Button from the Map-Based Record View.
STEP 3. The records on the device with Location information will be indicated by a red dot. The number indicates the number of records for that given cluster. Click the red dot to list the records in that cluster.
PLEASE NOTE: You can customize which elements show in this view by specifying that in the Reference ID 2 DISPLAYFIELD.
STEP 4. Select the record you'd like to work within.
What do the Status Icons mean?
When collecting data on a device, every record on the device has a record status. Refer to the images to see the status of individual records.
The Record was successfully uploaded to the server.
The Record has been successfully downloaded to the device.
The Record is not completed and is saved as a draft.
The Record is completed and is ready to be synced with the server.
The Record is partially synced with the server and needs to be re-synced when there is better connectivity.
