IFORM FOR IOS ERROR MESSAGES
To resolve this error please re-sync your device. This is a fail-safe built in that doesn't allow children (subform records) to be sent to the server without having a valid PARENT_RECORD_ID.
Typically the cause of this error is you have synced your device in an area of poor connectivity and the device needs to be synced to obtain a valid PARENT_RECORD_ID.
** Please update your iForm app to at least 8.20 where we fixed a bug where records were being orphaned due to missing PARENT_PAGE_ID. This will resolve the error message.
UPDATE (May 2023):
There were new reports of this error where re-syncing was no longer working. We found the issue to be related to the code not re-checking when data was being loaded. This was fixed in iOS iForm App version 10.7.1. Please update to this version or higher if you are experiencing this error.

The proposed remedy did not solve the problem.
Hi Guy, can you please try again and also post back your network speeds that you have when you see the error.
I have this error this morning. I cannot get the subforms to sync no matter what I do and I cant edit the subform record sto see what the data is. Going forward we need a fix for this issue as there is no way of seeing what these subrecords contain.
Hi Mark, we are working on a fix to make sure the parent record is not marked off as completed if the subforms are not successfully uploaded to the server. Your support ticket will remain open until we fix this bug and will keep you and others updated as it is fixed in our future release.
This issue seems to be widespread and getting worse. We see it all the time now, across multiple devices, syncing over multiple wi-fi networks.
For anyone else googling this error, one thing that has worked for us in some instances is to make a copy of the offending record–often the copy will sync correctly for whatever reason. Worst-case scenario (If the copy still doesn't sync correctly), you can enter the sub-forms of a newly-created copy and transfer the data manually.
Thanks for that Jonathan. I saw the issue again yesterday in an audit. I will try what you suggest thanks.
One other thing you can do is use the emergency upload which will send the local database to Zerion so they can extract the data.
Hello I got this message and thought nothing of it . Completed couple more forms in daft mode. When I connected to hotspot on the ipad with inform open gave me an incorrect username and password prompt and logged me out. When loggin back it all the data is gone including past synced forms. Any help recovering the completed forms would be greatly appreciated
