iForm for iOS Error Messages
NETWORK ERROR: Error connecting to Server. Please check Server Name
If you have a network error and you do have internet, meaning you are able to use an internet browser and surf the web, it is an easy fix.
STEP 1. Go to the settings of your device.
STEP 2. Click on the iForm App.
STEP 3. Check the Server Name and, if necessary, change it to the correct server.
If you go to https://app.iformbuilder.com to build forms, make sure that the server name points to app.iformbuilder.com. If you have a Dedicated Database, then double check your company url is correct, companyname.iformbuilder.com
What you should do if the Server Name is correct and you still receive the error
STEP 1. Close the app from the background. If you have newer iOS devices, you can simply hold down on the screen starting from the bottom and slide it up. Then hold on the iForm App screen and slide it up again. If you have iOS devices with the home button, you can double click the home button and when you see the iForm App, hold and slide it up. It should look like the screen below before you slide it up and close it from the background.
STEP 2. Go back into the settings screen of your device and toggle Airplane mode on and then off again. Or swipe on your device screen from the top left down and toggle from there.
STEP 3. Re-launch the iForm app to resolve the network error.
