Form Properties: Frequently Asked Questions

The Form Properties interface allows you to change the name of your form, add icons, descriptions and more.

What is a form icon?

The form icon allows you to use an image to help identify forms on the main form screen. You can choose an icon from the library we provide or point to your own using the URL input.

PLEASE NOTE: You must use a public link in order for your custom icon to work.

How do I add an icon to my form?

To add an icon to your form, please follow the instructions below.

STEP 1. With your form loaded in the form builder, click the Edit Form Properties icon.

STEP 2. Scroll down to the Form Icon section. Here you can choose to add one of our standard icons, upload an icon or insert a link. This can be either a public or a linked Box or Dropbox account.

STEP 3. Select your icon.

Here you'll have 3 options for inserting an icon. You can choose one of our standard icons, upload an icon or insert a public URL.

Option A: Use our Standard Icons

To add one of our standard icons to your form, simply click on the icon you wish to use.

Option B: Upload your own Icon

Click Custom Icons on the left-hand menu. Press Upload Icon and choose a file. Once uploaded, select the icon and a green border should be around the selected icon.

PLEASE NOTE:

• File size must be less than 256 kb and must be either PNG, JPG or JPEG.
• All upload icons will create a public link that can be accessed anywhere.

Option C: Use a public URL or use a linked Box or Dropbox account.

To add your custom icon, paste the public link where your image is housed.

STEP 4. Click Save changes.

STEP 5. Test the new icon on your device.
