What is a Server Admin?
One of the most notable features when upgrading to a Dedicated Database is the addition of the Server Admin role. The Server Admin can manage different profiles within your database, allocate licenses, create users, customize the portal and more.
How do I add a new profile to my Dedicated Database?
With a Dedicated Database, you can have multiple profiles within your database. This allows you to create users and forms, collect data and customize branding under separate company profiles.
STEP 1. From inside the admin portal, hover over the Server Admin tab and select Manage Profile.
STEP 2. On the following screen, click + New.
STEP 3. Configure your profile to your needs.
- Company Name: This will be the name of the new profile
- Max Number of Users: This will be the total number of users that can be created in the profile. PLEASE NOTE: Usernames are unique to the Dedicated Database. So if you have a username of john_doe in Profile 1, you cannot use the same username in Profile 2.
- Max Number of Forms: This is the total number of forms that can be built inside the profile.
- Active: Check this box to activate the profile.
STEP 4. Click Create Company.
