What is a Dataflow Automation action?
A Dataflow Automation action allows you send data from your RecordSets to other entities in a variety of different ways such as Reports, Email, Post and more.
What is the purpose of searching for an action resource?
When creating adding an action to a RecordSet, the search allows you to easily find the resource (i.e. Report, Document, Form, etc) you wish to use for your action. This is especially helpful when you have a vast list of resources so that you don't have to scroll through dozens of them and can find them quickly.
How do I search my Action resources?
To search through your Action resources, please follow the instructions below.
STEP 1
With your Dataflow loaded, highlight the RecordSet you want to add the action to.
Step 2
From the Actions drop-down menu, choose the action you want to create.
Step 3
Name your Action.
Step 4
Search for the resource you want to use.
Step 5
Choose the resource and click Save.
Your action is now attached to your Dataflow using the resource you selected.
