What is a Dataflow Automation action?
A Dataflow Automation action allows you to send data from your RecordSets to other entities in a variety of different ways such as Reports, Email, Post, and more.

What is a Dataflow Automation Event?
Within Zerion Dataflow Automation, Events allow you to verify if the action you've set up was successfully completed or if the action failed. It will provide a log of successful or failed actions when the action is run.

How do I create an Event from an Action?
To create an Event from an action, please follow the instructions below.
STEP 1. Load the Dataflow you'll be working in.
STEP 2. With your Dataflow loaded, highlight the action you want to add the Event to.
STEP 3. From the Actions drop-down menu, select Edit Action. In this example, we are applying an Event to a Zerion Document Action.
STEP 4. On the following screen, scroll down and click the Event checkbox.
STEP 5. Name your Event.
STEP 6. Specify which data will be returned to the RecordSet after the Event. Use the Advanced tab to customize the data which is returned.
STEP 7. Click Save.
