How do I create a form?
With our newest form builder, building a form is now easier and more intuitive than ever.

What is a text element?
The Text Element allows users to type in up to 300 characters into a field on your form.
How do I add a text element to my form?
To add a text element, please follow the instructions below.
STEP 1. From inside the form builder, click the Text button from the left-hand menu. You'll see it populate the device view.
STEP 2. On the right-hand side, you'll see the element properties. Enter the name of your element, and if you like, a description of what information should be entered in the element when collecting.
PLEASE NOTE: If you check the Based on Label option, it will create a data column based on the Label on the element.
STEP 3. Save your form.
STEP 4. Check it out on your device.
Text Element Tip #1
If your users need to type large amounts of text, use the Text Area Element instead of the Text element.

As shown in the example above, use the description field to provide your users with instructions on what data should be included in the text element
