What is the Range element?
The Range element is a slider used to collect numerical values selected from a predetermined range of numbers.
How do I add a range element to my form?
To add the Range element to your form, please follow the instructions below.
STEP 1. With your form loaded in the Form Builder, click the Range button from the left-hand menu.
STEP 2. On the right-hand side, you'll see the element properties. Enter the name of your element.
PLEASE NOTE: If you check the Based on Label option, it will create a data column based on the Label on the element.
STEP 3. From the Element Properties tab, determine the range of numbers the user can select from.
PLEASE NOTE: By default, the range is 1 to 10.
STEP 4. Save your form.
How do I adjust the increment levels?
The Range element allows you to decide at what increments to increase or decrease the value using the Reference ID RANGE_STEPVALUE. Follow the instructions below to determine those increments.
PLEASE NOTE: In this example, we'll be incrementing by 2.5.
STEP 1. On the right-hand menu, scroll down to the Reference 1 section and enter the following:
RANGE_STEPVALUE=2.5
STEP 2. Save your form.
STEP 3. Test the functionality on your device.
